Yard Waste and Spring time Reminders

UPDATE: DURING CONSTRUCTION THE YARD WASTE CONTAINER IS LOCATED AT THE REAR OF TOWN HALL.


The yard waste bin was returned across from Town Hall on March 5th, 2024, and will continue into fall. Please see the reminders below for the yard waste bin.


Burning of any kind other than a recreational fire is strictly prohibited within city limits at all times. If you notice, there is an issue, please reach out to the Southwest Clean Air Agency to report unauthorized burning or visit their website for more information. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BE CURTIOUS TO YOUR FELLOW COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND TOWN EMPLOYEES, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF.


PUT ALL DEBRIS AS FAR BACK IN THE CONTAINER AS POSSIBLE

DO NOT LEAVE DEBRIS IN FRONT OF THE CONTAINER

DO NOT PLACE GARBAGE OF ANY KIND IN THE CONTAINER

NO INVASIVE SPECIES ARE ALLOWED.


FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE RULES WILL RESULT IN THE REMOVAL OF THE DUMPSTER FOR EVERYONE.


The following invasive species are not accepted in the container or at the compost station:

Scotch Broom

Blackberries

Yellow archangel (lamiastrum galeobdolon)

Purple loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria)

Yellow iris (Iris pseudacorus)

Knotweeds: Japanese, Bohemian, giant and Himalayan (Polygonum cuspidatum, P.x bohemicum, P. sachalinense, P. polystachyum

English Ivy (Hedera helix “Baltica,” Hedera helix “Pittsburgh,” and Hedera helix “Star,” and Hedera hibernica “Hibernica”)

Poison hemlock (Conium maculatum)

Tansy ragwort (Senecia jacobaea)

Giant hogweed (Heracleaum mantegazzianum)

Houndstongue (Cynoglossum officinale)

Spurge laurel (Daphne laureola)

Town Hall Closure

Water Shut off

UPDATE: The repair is complete and water has been restored to the affected area. The Town of Pe Ell is scheduling a water shut off for a main line repair on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at approximately 9
